RWANDA GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEE SAFARI TOUR

After breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe forest national park with stop at Rwanda cultural Kingdom for cultural experience and later continue to Nyungwe forest national park reaching in time for lunch at the booked hotel.  The evening will be spent at leisure.

Be up early, have breakfast and transfer to the Nyungwe forest national park.  upon reaching the park offices, your guide will do the paper walk before heading to the general briefing before entering the jungle to trek the Chimpanzee our close relatives.

Time taken will depend on the movement of the chimpanzee and steep slopes of the landscape. When you sight the chimpanzee, you will spend an hour with the chimpanzee in their natural habitat playing, grooming and feeding.  After an hour in their presence, you will return to the starting point and back to the park office, have lunch and later head for canopy walk and finally back to the accommodation.

In the morning have breakfast at leisure and transfer to lake Kivu, reaching in time for lunch. After lunch you can relax on the lake shores, explore the islands or the various activities on offer.

Have breakfast at leisure and transfer to Volcanoes national park reaching in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Ellen DeGeneres campus and ibyiwachu cultural centre and later to the accommodation for overnight stay.

This day calls for early wake up, have breakfast and transfer to Volcanoes office for paper work and general   briefing and location into small groups of 8 people. Each   group will be led by    a ranger guide   to the jungle.  The trek can take 2-6 hours depending on various factors like steep slopes and Gorilla   movements.  On finding the gorillas you spend an hour observing them in the natural habitat. Return to accommodation relax and enjoy the beauty of the forest views at the back of the accommodation.

After breakfast you will transfer to volcanoes national park offices for paper work and general briefing about the dos and do not before entering the jungle to trek the golden monkeys.  The golden monkey trekking is similar to gorilla trekking as the landscape is the same. On reaching the golden monkey you will spend one hour before returning to the accommodation for lunch and check out ‘and transfer to Kigali city.

Depending on the  flight time , your have city tour of Kigali  or transfer to kanombe  airport for your  flight back home.
