3 - Day Itinerary
DAY - 1
1 Murchison falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
You will be picked from your area of convenience and depart for the most beautiful protected area Murchison falls national park. En route you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The reserve was created to reintroduce rhinos into the country which have been extinct since 1982. Together with a guide you will truck the rhinos and observe them in their natural habitat at very close and safe distance. After the activity you will have lunch and continue to Murchison falls national park through the Kichumbanyobo gate. You will visit the top of the falls and later cross the Nile River to the northern bank combine the afternoon game drive as you transfer to the hotel. DAY - 2
Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will have morning of spectacular game viewing! The best area for game viewing on the northern bank is the peninsular between Victoria and Albert Nile. It is known for it is abundant wildlife and has several tracks ( Buligi, Victoria, Queen and Albert track) You will have the chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, leopard, hartebeest, kobs, water bucks, oribi, buffalos, warthogs and many different bird species. The afternoon will be spent on an extensive exploration by boat on the Nile River, up stream towards the falls. This is where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river. You can admire on slopes of the Nile River, the big number of hippos, elephants and the Nile crocodiles. The launch trip is a unique adventure, full of activity and constant surprises! Bird watchers will appreciate the rich bird life. The spectacular Murchison falls were discovered by sir Samuel White Baker in 1864.
