3 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Begin the day with an early breakfast and later head for morning game drive I which is the best time for game drives in the Kasenyi plain of Queen Elizabeth National Park.  Be on the look for cape buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards among others.  You will visit the Uganda Kob mating ground which is a defined area specifically used by Uganda Kobs for challenging, enticing and mating. Adult rams defend a circle territory (30 metres diameter) and depending on the season the mating ground can have 20 and more of these small territories each defended by a male. Watch the spectacular fights as kobs defend their territories, look for lions and leopards as well because the high concentration of Kobs attract their predators. After the game drive we also visit the fishing village and the salt work salt Kesenyi village near lake George.We return to the hotel as we do a game drive along the kansenyi  Katunguru  road.In the afternoon we will take the launch on the Kazinga channel which is considered the highlight of the day. The Kazinga channel is a natural channel of 36 km long between lake George and lake Edward.  The launch trip is the most popular activity at Mweya. While on the boat you can see elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles and many water birds that are cooling off at the shores. The boat cruise takes about 2 hours and later you go for short evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.Budget. After a relaxed breakfast we calmly transfer to Entebbe via the Mbarara with stop over at the equator for lunch break, water experiment and shopping and later continue to Entebbe or any convenient place of drop off see when you visit again.
