3 - Day Itinerary
DAY - 1
Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Your safari will start from Entebbe International Airport. You will be received by the assigned company representative who will assist you with the bags and later depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain Gorillas in Uganda harbouring over 300 of them which is almost half of the world ´s gorilla population.The drive will take you southwest Uganda by road, cross the Equator mark then to, Mbarara for lunch break. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.Depending on the time of arrival you can relax at lodge and enjoy the good views of the forest next. to the lodge or do an optional community walk to the Batwa. DAY - 2
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park offices, and your guide will do the paper work and registration and this will be followed by the general briefing of the clients by the park ranger about the dos and do nots while in the jungle. You will enter the jungle the beauty of the jungle is spectacular. The time taken and the terrain will vary with the movements of the Gorillas as they look for food and fighting for dominance or fighting the wild un habituated gorillas. Up on the finding the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat, feeding, grooming and playing on the swings especially the juveniles. The time observing the gorillas is awesome exciting experience and un forgettable in the life time. Return to the ranger offices and you will be given certificates for successfully tracking the gorillas and then drive to your hotel. If time allows and energy you can take an optional activity Batwa experience or relax at the hotel and enjoy the beautiful views of the Bwindi Forest. DAY - 3
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to Entebbe International air port
Have an early breakfast and embark on the return journey to Entebbe International Airport. You will stop at the Equator for the water experiment, traditional photos, shopping and lunch. You will hit the road and finally you will be dropped at the airport or your place of convenience and hope to hear from as you write a review or refer your friends and thanks for entrusting us.
