7 DAYS RWANDA AND UGANDA PRIMATE SAFARI TOUR

Golden monkey   trekking takes   place in the volcanoes National Park and at the same time as the gorilla trekking. These are rare monkey’s species listed as endangered and Volcanoes National Park has habituated groups that are available for trekking by visitors. The exercise starts with a short briefing from the park ranger at the offices. There after the , you will proceed  to trek the golden monkeys through the rain forest of the volcanoes national park. Return to the accommodation for rest and lunch. After lunch transfer to Uganda via the Cyanika border post travel to the accommodation next to Bwindi national park.

Have breakfast and move to the park offices for paper work and general briefing on the dos and do nots during gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure and encounter. The time taken and the terrain vary depending on the movements of the gorillas.  Once you have located the gorillas, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.  The time spent with gorillas in their natural habitat is un forgettable and life time experience.  Return to the accommodation for relaxing next to the beautiful forest next to hotel.

After your early breakfast, embark on transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park famously known for tree climbing lion.  Once there you will under take the game drive in search for the rare species and other animal species.  You will have lunch enroute and continue to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park reaching late afternoon.

Be up early, have breakfast and proceed to Kasenyi plains for the morning game drive, look for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, Kobs and many more. Return to the accommodation, rest and lunch. After lunch you will head for the boat safari a long Kazinga channel which joins lake Edward and lake George.  During the trip the sight of wildlife, birds, crocodiles and hippos will fascinate you. Later you can proceed for the evening game drive and later return to the accommodation.

Be up early, have breakfast and drive to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee trekking.  Upon arrival you will move to the viewing deck as your guide formalise the paper work and followed by the general briefing and later enter the jungle led by the park armed ranger. Return to the offices and there after transfer to lake mburo national park via Mbarara city for lunch break and continue to Mburo national park for evening game drive before driving to the accommodation for dinner and over night stay.

Be up early and head to the park for the morning walking safari in the presence of the armed ranger guide. On this walking safari you will have the opportunity to encounter at close range of Zebras, Giraffes, Eland, Topi cape buffalos and on lucky day leopard.There after return to the accommodation, have breakfast, check out and head to Entebbe with a stop at the equator for pictures and lunch break and continue to Entebbe  International airport for your flight back home.
