9 days Rwanda and Uganda wildlife and primate safari

Have breakfast and later transfer to the Volcanoes national park. The drive will take through winding roads and terraced hills of Rwanda on to Ruhengeri and finally the Volcanoes. You will be in time for lunch and later in the afternoon visit the Ellen DeGeneres campus and Ibyiwacu cultural village and later return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Today is the long-awaited day for gorilla trekking! Be up early have breakfast and transfer to the Volcanoes National Park offices for paper work before the general briefing by the park rangers   about the Dos, do nots, the general history of the park and the group allocated for tracking that day by the lead ranger guide. You will enter the jungle in search for the gorillas; the trekking time will depend on the movements and steep slopes of the landscape. Once you meet the gorillas you will spend an hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat, feeding, grooming, playing and dis playing dominance.  After  an a hour you will return to the  starting point where you entered the jungle from and later drive to the accommodation. Golden monkey   trekking takes   place in the volcanoes National Park as the gorilla trekking. These are rare monkey species listed as endangered and Volcanoes National Park has habituated groups that are available for trekking by visitors. The exercise starts with a short briefing from the park ranger at the offices. There after , you will proceed  to trek the golden monkeys through the rain forest of the volcanoes national park. Return to the accommodation for rest and lunch and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park  Uganda via the Cyanika border post accommodation at Mweya Safari lodge or Acacia safari lodge.

Be up early, have breakfast and proceed to Kasenyi plains for the morning game drive, look for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, Kobs and many more. Return to the accommodation, rest and lunch. After lunch you will head for the boat safari a long Kazinga channel which joins lake Edward and lake George.  During the trip the sight of wildlife, birds, crocodiles and hippos will fascinate you. Later you can proceed for the evening game drive and later return to the accommodation. Mweya Safari Lodge or Acacia Safari Lodge

Have an early breakfast, and transfer to the park, the Kyambura area for Chimpanzee trekking.  Upon reaching the offices, the guide will do paper work followed by general briefing about the history of the park, dos and do nots while in the presence of the chimpanzee.  After an hour with the chimpanzee, you return back to the accommodation for lunch.  Later in the afternoon you will go for the evening game drive at Kasenyi famous for game viewing safari. Accommodation Mweya Safari Lodge or Acacia Safari Lodge.

You will hit the road and drive to  Lake Mburo national park.Watch the zebras cross the road as you drive to the hotel reach in time for lunch and later an afternoon game drive.

Be up early and head to the park for the morning walking safari in the presence of the armed ranger guide. On this walking safari you will have the opportunity to encounter at close range of Zebras, Giraffes, Eland, Topi cape buffalos and on lucky day leopard.There after return to the accommodation, have breakfast, check out and transfer to Kigali city Rwanda or Entebbe Uganda.

Depending on the time of your out bond flight, you can have breakfast at leisure, city tour before transfering to the airport.
