Scenic and biodiverse, Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular protected area, Diverse ecosystems, including sprawling savanna, shady forests,sparkling lakes and lush wetlands,provide ideal habitats for classic big game, forest primates and birds. Queen was initially named Kazinga national park in 1952 , but was renamed two years later to commemorate avisit by Queen Elizabeth 11 in 1954. As well as it’s out standing wildlife attractions, Queen has a fascinating cultural history. There are many opportunities for vistors to meet the local communities and enjoy cultural encounters. The park is approximately 2000 sq km found in the Albertine Rift Valley between lake Edward and George. while in Queen you can do game drives, boat cruises, bird watching, chimpanzee tracking,sport fishing and African cultural encounters.
