8 Days best of Rwanda Land of a thousand hills

Be up early and have breakfast and begin the morning game drive  in search for  elephants, buffalos, elands, Leopard, spotted hyena , lion, giraffe, zebra and many other wildlife species.  We will stop for a picnic lunch and then continue with the game drive till evening and return to the hotel A Kagera game lodge in the south .

After breakfast, drive out of A Kagera National Park and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park with a stopover at Butare for lunch and later visit the famous National Museum.  Then continue to Nyungwe National Park dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

Today Nyungwe Forest National Park opens its doors to sensational chimpanzee tracking.  Nyungwe is a true rain forest, it’s one of the oldest forests in Africa and protects largest tract of montane forest remaining any wherein East and Central Africa and it´s rich in diversity, harbouring   75 mammal’s species, 120 butterfly, over 100 varieties of Orchid and highly alluring to birders and botanists and keen walkers.The main attraction of Nyungwe forest is its primates especially chimpanzee tracking.After an early breakfast, start your day early as 5.00am and transfer to the park offices, upon reaching there the guide will handle the paper work, followed by the general briefing by the ranger guide before entering the forest to search for the intelligent and lively primates.  The search through the dense forest can take 30 minutes to hours and we you find the chimpanzee, you will spend an hour observing them swing, feed, groom and some time up the tree. Return to the lodge for lunch and later go out for canopy walk which is the suspended bridge walk above the tree tops   with panoramic views.

You will transfer to Kibuye   dinner and overnight stay at the beautiful lake resort on lake Kivu Cormoran lodge.

Have a relaxed breakfast and later do optional boat ride on lake Kivu with an amazing view then drive to Gisenyi to another lake resort on the northern side of the lake called Kivu Serena Hotel for lunch, dinner and overnight  stay.

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Volcanoes for the first gorilla trekking.Upon reaching, the park offices, your guide will do the paper work and you will be assigned gorilla family to visit. Venture into Virunga rain forest with the expert tracker the park ranger to find the assigned gorilla family.  spend an awe -inspiring hour with the gorilla family in their natural habitat once life time experience. Later return to the lodge   Mountain gorilla view lodge or Singita for luxury lodge dinner and overnight stay.

Be up early for breakfast and transfer the Volcanoes National Park for the second gorilla trekking, return to the lodge freshen up, have lunch and later transfer to Kigali dinner and over night at Kigali Serena Hotel

Have  calmly breakfast and transfer to the air port for your departure flight and the marks the  end our  safari, be our  ambassador .
