DAY - 1
Arrival at Entebbe- Transfer to Kampala
You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Received and greeted at the Airport by the guide. You will be transferred to Kampala dinner and overnight at Nyubani hotel Kampala is the capital city of Uganda with a population of about 2 million, Kampala city is the largest settlement in Uganda. Kampala was developed around a fort constructed by Frederick Lugard in 1890 for the British East Africa Company.
DAY - 2
Kampala - Jinja
Today we depart for the second largest city in Uganda called Jinja, via Mukono, Mabira forest and we enter Jinja town after crossing the Owen falls dam. Jinja is where the Nile River leaves Lake Victoria to start its 6400km journey to the Mediterranean sea. On your way to Jinja, you will pass via Sezibwa falls. It is believed that the twines gave birth to this stream that pauses of sparkling falls and the rock caves is where the mother lived. After enjoying the beautiful guided scenery and cultural tour of Sezibwa, you will dash to another living feature Mabira forest as you continue to Jinja to visit the source of the Nile.At the source of the Nile, you will take about ride to the point where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria and later have lunch. In the afternoon you will depart for Bujagali to enjoy a unique African experience, scenic view and cultural sites as you ride the Quad bike through villages. DAY - 3
Jinja - Kapchorwa
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Kapchorwa, via Iganga, Namutumba, Palisa and Mbale town which was once the cleanest town in Uganda but now it is famous for its strong culture of the Imbalu ceremony which is the path to manhood. You will enjoy the different landscapes and culture. As you descend and ascend up hills finally, you be at the beginning point to hike to the base of Sipi Falls, it is a rewarding nature walk where the Sipi gushes down a steep slope of 50 metres cliff. This will be followed by a village walk at the pace of the slowest person. Lunch will be served at Sipi river lodge dinner and overnight.
DAY - 4
To Soroti via Kumi
We depart early and head to Soroti Via Kumu and Nyero rock paintings. The Nyero rock paintings, are asset of granite out crop called Moru Ikara near Nyero trading centre. The paintings are thought to be 400 years old, are in three shelters next to each other. They are said to be among the finest rock paintings in East Africa and very fascinating to see. We will have lunch in Kumi town before continuing to Soroti for an overnight stay and dinner at Land mark hotel or Soroti hotel
DAY - 5
Soroti - Moroto
After an early breakfast, we will transfer to Kotido town. We will go through beautiful land Scape, agame reserves PianUpe and Matheniko. As we go through the reserve we will spot some wildlife like; Bush back, duikers, cheetahs, buffalos and many bird species. We will arrive in time for lunch at Kotido resort. After lunch we will visit the largest village in Africa Nakaporumuru for a cultural experience. Accommodation karatunga
DAY - 6
To Kidepo National park
Have a relaxed breakfast and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we calmly enter Kidepo National Park. As we enter the park we will spot wildlife like the Buffalo, giraffes, Zebras, Jackson heart beast and many bird species. After lunch we will have a game drive in the Narus valley as the wildlife congregates here much and it has adequate track circuits which enables visitors to view animals in close range. Dinner and accommodation at Savannah lodge.
DAY - 7
Kidepo - Gulu
After an early breakfast we will have a game drive along the valley in search for the king of the jungle, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, spotted hyenas and many more animal species. As we depart the park, we will have a community walk to get to know more about the Karamajong life style who are like the Masai of Kenya. We will have lunch in Kitgum town before continuing to Gulu for an overnight stay at Acholi inn.
DAY - 8
To - Murchison falls National park
Today we depart after breakfast for the biggest protected area in Uganda; Murchison falls National Park. We will enter the park through the northern bank using the Tangi gate and have game drive.We will have several stops for pictures of the spotted wildlife like; Elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Oribi, Giraffes and many bird species. Dinner and overnight at Fort Muchison lodge or pakuba safari lodge.The afternoon will be spent on an extensive exploration by the boat on the Nile River, upstream towards the falls. This is where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river. You can admire on the slopes of Nile River, the big number of hippos, elephants, buffaloes and nile crocodiles. The launch trip is a unique adventure, full of activity and constant surprises. Bird watchers will appreciate the rich bird life. Upon reaching the bottom of the water falls we will depart the safety boat to hike up the Top of Falls where you will be amazed by the scenic view. Dinner and over night at Murchison River lodge or Pakuba safari lodge
DAY - 9
Murchison falls National park - Ziwa rhino sanctuary
After an early breakfast, you will have a full morning spectacular game viewing. The best area for game viewing on the north bank is the peninsula between the Victoria and Albert Nile. It is known for it’s abundant wildlife and has several tracks (Buligi track, Queen’s track, Victoria track and Albert track). There are several wildlife to spot like; the lion, leopard, elephants, jackals, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, buffaloes, oribi and the abundant birdlife. After the game drive, we will take the ferry to the southern gate and depart for Ziwa rhino sanctuary via Masindi town lunch en-route at Kabalega resort. After lunch we will continue to Ziwa rhono sanctuary a home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The reserve was created to re-introduce rhinos in the country. Dinner and overnight at Amuka lodge.
DAY - 10
Ziwa - Ssese Island
Today we depart for Ssese Is land. We will transfer to Nakiwogo in Entebbe via Kampala. We will have lunch before taking a boat to the Ssese is land. Upon reaching the island in the afternoon we will relax at the beach. Dinner and overnights at Brovad sand beach.
DAY - 11
In Ssese Island
After a relaxed breakfast, we will take a nature walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery as we calmly go through forests and villages. We will return at leisure to the hotel for lunch and the afternoon will be spent relaxing at the beach or sport fishing or boat ride in short it will be an optional evening. Dinner and overnight at Brovad sand beach.
DAY - 12
Ssese - Entebbe
This day we will have breakfast early in order to catch up with the boat to transfer to Entebbe and finally to African root guest house. After lunch, we will relax at the hotel or move around Entebbe town
DAY - 13
Departure day
After a relaxed breakfast, we will transfer to Entebbe international airport for the home flight.
