DAY - 1
Arrival day
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be welcomed by the company representative, who will transfer you to Kampala for overnight stay at Cassia lodge.
DAY - 2
Kamapala to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa
Today your adventure begins, after breakfast you will be picked by your driver guide and proceed to Murchison falls national park which is the largest savanna park in Uganda. You will pass via Ziwa sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Along the way, you will stop for lunch at Kabalega dinners and later proceed to Murchison falls national park dinner and overnight stay at Pakuba safari lodge or Para safari lodge
DAY - 3
Murchison falls national park
Murchison falls national park is the largest park in Uganda with the most striking water fall in the world, diverse land scape, varied wildlife and abundant bird life for bird lovers. After an early breakfast, we set off for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the river. We will traverse different tracks in search for the Big 5 and other fantastic wildlife encounter opportunities. After lunch, in the afternoon the safari will be continued with a boat cruise along the Nile for game viewing at close quarters. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge or Para safari lodge
DAY - 4
Murchison falls to Kibale Forest National park.
After an early breakfast, we will depart the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park and head to Fort portal with lunch en -route. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled “mountains of the moon” and is famous for the many tea plantations and you will have time for some photo opportunities. From this lovely town we will continue to Kibale National Park. Dinner and overnight at chimpanzee guest house or crater safari lodge. Kibale forest is a home to the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa, including over 1000 chimpanzee our close cousins, black and white colobus monkey, L’Hoest’s, forest elephants and much more.
DAY - 5
Kibale Forest and Bigodi swamp walk
Today is time for one of the highlights of your trip as we take a short walk in the forest to begin your chimpanzee tracking experience. Kibale forest is a home to the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa, and is renowned as being the best place to see the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After a pre-tracking briefing you will begin your hike into the forest to visit a large habituated family of chimps. Along the way you will see other residents like other primates, bird species and the beautiful flora and fauna. Upon sighting the chimpanzee, you will have an hour to observe them, play, groom, swing, feed and take care of their young ones. After your exciting morning, you will head back to the lodge for lunch before travelling to Bigodi swamp for a very different nature experience. Bigodi swamp walk is an initiative to the local community dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guest house or crater safari lodge
DAY - 6
Kibale forest to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After breakfast we will calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take you 3hours across the majestic foot hills of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the mountains of the moon. En route we will see the scenic crater lakes before reaching the beautiful national park Queen Elizabeth.The remarkable national park is at 1978 km, diverse landscape, and abundant wildlife and Savannah plains. Home to 95 species of mammals including: Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Kobs and many more including our cousins the Chimpanzee. The park also has got the highest number of birds 606 than any other park in Uganda. The Kazinga channel, a natural canal that joins lake Edward and lake George is one of the park’s domineering features. On your way to the lodge, you will be viewing wild animals as they cross the channel track. Upon arrival at Mweya safari lodge, you will relax at the lobby as you get checked in, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY - 7
Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day begins early as we start with morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for Lions, elephants, buffalos and other wild animals in the natural habitat before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we take a luxury boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, a natural channel between lake Edward and lake George. The cruise will take you close to the abundant wild life cooling of along the shores and it will definitely be one of the highlights of the day. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge.
DAY - 8
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Park
This morning we transfer to Bwind Impenetrable Park via the Ishasha sector which is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree climbing lions and other wildlife before settling down for our picnic lunch. Later we shall calmly transfer to Bwind which is the home to over a half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. In fact Bwindi is the best place to observe these gentle giants at close encounter. The park is also a home to other primates and spectacular scenery, trails and water falls. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge.
DAY - 9
Gorilla trekking day
Today is especial day, we wake up early to have breakfast and transfer to park offices for registration and group allocation. The lead guide of the group will brief you about the do and don’ts, the behaviors’ of the gorilla, the history of the group and expectations. You will then get back to your cars and be driven to the starting point. The guide will lead you into the forest, the trekking can take 15minutes to 8 hours this requires some minimum fitness. As you trek through the forest, the anticipation of seeing the gorillas, the sightings of birds and other primates, the scenic beauty of the forest is more than enough destruction from that. Upon sighting the gorillas, your group will be allowed 1 hour to observe the gorillas go through their daily lives, play, feed, groom and wrestle. After that the guide will lead you out of the jungle with life time memories to the starting point and then transfer back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge.
DAY - 10
Bwindi to lake Bunyonyi
After the life time experience and busy days, we will transfer to lake Bunyonyi for relaxation for 2 days at the shores of the deepest lake in Uganda. We will arrive at the lodge during lunch time. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages.
DAY - 11
At Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you can decide to relax or take on optional activities like canoeing, bird watching ,village walks and swimming. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages.
DAY - 12
Bunyonyi to lake Mburo national park
After breakfast will we transfer to lake Mburo national park which is the smallest savannah park in Uganda with abundant wildlife. Arelaxing game drive will take us to Mihingo lodge. After lunch you will transfer to the lake side for the evening boat cruise before returning to the lodge. After dinner, you will go for an exciting night game drive that will enable you see some animals like the bush pigs, spotted hyenas, leopard and white tailed man goose that cannot be seen on regular game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Mihingo lodge.
DAY - 13
Lake Mburo to Kampala
This day calls for an early wake up and transfer to the starting point for a walking safari. This is another adventure which allows you to watch wildlife on foot but very close than in the car. You will be able to spot very small mammals and big mammals.After returning to the lodge, you will have breakfast and later transfer to Kampala with as top over at the Equator for lunch, photos and souvenirs’ before lastly transferring to Cassia lodge.
DAY - 14
Departure day
Have relaxed breakfast and prepare to be transferred to the airport for your onward flight back home.
